Hello and Welcome! My name is Danielle Wilson and I am thrilled to be a teacher at St. James School. What a blessing it has been so far! I am a long-time parishioner of St. James Parish and an alumni student of St. James School, along with several of my kiddos. We LOVE our St. James family!
A little background… My college career began at Butler Community College where I earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, then I continued my college career at WSU, earning a Bachelor’s in Education with Honors in 2015. I worked with 4th grade and 2nd grade students during my student teaching semesters, then taught 1st grade as a first year teacher in El Dorado. I wanted to teach closer to home, so the next year I accepted a new teaching position in early education for at-risk children with the Augusta School District. I worked as a program coordinator and teacher for the At-Risk PreK two years before accepting the 3rd grade teaching position here.
God’s Blessings….St. James is where my heart has always longed to be and I feel so blessed to be able to teach and serve others as a Catholic educator. Catholic education is a priceless gift and God has put many blessings upon our diocese and parish to allow such a blessing. God is so Good!
As time has passed teaching at St. James, I have been overwhelmed by the close, loving community and goodness of the staff and families of the school. I am so grateful to be counted among those that get the privilege to work within and represent Catholic education and St. James Parish.
God bless and keep you and yours always in His loving embrace!
Together in Christ,
Danielle -Wilson
